Volume wins. You just can't afford it the old way.
The best way to win at content and ads is volume. Not one perfect ad. Fifty okay ones, so the algorithm can tell you which one prints.
The old way makes that impossible. A UGC creator charges $150 to $300 a clip and takes a week. Twenty variations is a $5,000 bill and a month of waiting. So people make three ads, run them for six weeks, and wonder why nothing scales.
This setup flips it. You describe what you want, Claude does the clicking, Arcads does the rendering. Your job becomes picking winners.
What you're actually connecting
Two pieces.
Arcads is the AI ad platform. 1,000+ AI actorsbuilt from real footage, plus the current image and video models under one roof (Seedance, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Nano Banana, GPT Image). It's the tool behind the skin you saw in the reel.
The connectoris what plugs Arcads into Claude. Arcads runs an MCP server, which is just a fancy way of saying Claude gets Arcads' full toolbox as buttons it can press itself. Generate an image. Generate a video. Upload a file. Add subtitles. Translate. Claude picks the tool, calls it, waits, and hands you the download link.
And we run it inside Claude Codeinstead of a normal chat. That's the part most people miss. Claude Code can see your files. So it can grab the screenshot straight out of your Downloads folder and ship it to Arcads without you uploading anything.
Get your Arcads account
You need an Arcads account before anything else, because the connector asks you to sign in.
Heads up: that's my partner link. If you sign up through it I earn a commission. Costs you nothing extra and it's the same tool I use in the reel.
Add the connector in the Claude desktop app
This is the “Customize, Connectors, Add” part of the reel. Takes about 60 seconds.
You need a Claude Pro, Max, or Team plan for custom connectors.
Here's the good part:once it's connected, it's live in normal chat AND in Claude Code inside the same app. You don't set it up twice.
Open Claude Code and drop in your screenshot
That's the whole prep.
Paste the prompt
This is the exact prompt from the reel, word for word:
What happens next:
- Claude looks in Downloads, finds the newest screenshot, and reads what the product is.
- It uploads the image to Arcads through the connector.
- It writes five different static ad concepts (different scenes, different angles, different people holding the product) and generates them.
- It writes a short UGC script and generates the video ad.
- It waits for the renders and drops the download links in the chat.
The first time, Claude will ask permission to read the file and to call the Arcads tools. Say yes. If you don't want to click through every step, switch the session to auto mode and it runs straight through.
If Claude asks which brand to use, tell it to create one for your product. A brand in Arcads is just the folder your generations land in.
Then look at the skin. Look at the hands. That's the tell on whether an AI ad is usable, and this is where Arcads is ahead.
What Claude can do once it's connected
The connector isn't one button. Once it's plugged in, Claude has the whole Arcads toolbox. Try these next:
- “Make 10 different hooks for the video ad. Same product, same actor, different first 3 seconds.”
- “Do a talking-head version. Female actor, 30 to 45, kitchen setting, casual energy.”
- “Make an unboxing POV video of this product.”
- “Translate the best one into Spanish and French with matching lip sync.”
- “Add subtitles and a text overlay with the offer.”
- “Pull the top 10 competitor ads for [category] from the Meta Ad Library and tell me what hooks they're using.”
Product showcase, fashion try-on, app demo, actor swap, stitching clips together. It's all in there. You just say it in plain English.
From six ads to hundreds: the Workflow canvas
The last thing in the reel is the part that matters. One product image on the left. Lines fanning out into rows of scenes, then actors, then finished videos. That's the Arcads Workflow canvas.
Here's the idea. Instead of making one ad at a time, you build the pipeline once. Product in. Ten scenes. Five actors per scene. A hook per actor. Hit Run, and it renders every combination at the same time.
Run the winner from Step 4 through it and you're at 50, 100, 200 versions before lunch. Then upload the batch to Meta, let the algorithm pick, and kill the losers by Friday.
Bonus: the Arcads skills plugin
Arcads also ships a free plugin for Claude Code with four ready-made skills:
Install it in Claude Code with two commands:
Or just tell Claude: “Install this plugin for me: https://github.com/arcads-ai/skills”
The plugin ships with the connector config baked in, so if you only ever use Claude Code, this alone gets Arcads connected.
What it costs
Arcads doesn't post prices on the website. You see the plans after you create your account, and everything runs on credits from your plan.
Static images are cheap on credits. Talking-actor videos are the most expensive per clip. So do it in the right order: generate statics firstto find the angle that works, then spend video credits on the winner. That's exactly why the reel prompt asks for five statics and one video, not the other way around.
Mistakes that waste credits
- A bad screenshot. If Claude can't tell what the product is, the ads won't either. Clean shot, product clearly visible, nothing cropped.
- Asking for 50 videos on day one. Six first. Find the angle. Then scale. Video credits are the expensive ones.
- No audience in the prompt. Add "for busy moms" or "for guys who lift" and the scenes, actors, and script all get sharper.
- Skipping the skin check. Zoom in on faces and hands before you run anything with money behind it. That's the tell on every AI ad.
- Never touching Workflow. Six ads is a test. The canvas is where volume actually comes from.
